OUR MISSION & VISION

Southeast Asian Coalition is a non-profit organization established in 2001 in Worcester, MA in order to help the Southeast Asian Community. We have an ESL program that has three levels which each run two days a week. We also have a youth program known as Youth Effect which has over 40 youth who participate in our after school programs and weekly Wednesday meetings.

SEAC’s Youth Effect provides a healthy environment and equal opportunities for youth to express themselves in positive ways. Our services encourage and promote youth participation in healthy and cultural activities. They are geared towards bettering school performance, guiding youth to become better citizens, training youth in leadership skills, and encouraging and guiding them to become virtuous role models for others in our community. SEAC’s Youth Effect program offers a host of services to any youth who comes to our center such as SAT, ACT, GED preparation, college application guidance, after school tutoring, wellness/physical activities, cultural field trips, summer excursions and leadership development.

Year-to-date: We have 115 Youth registered, and 2,600 foot traffic.

We want to make Worcester a better place for our community members, creating an exciting environment for the city to grow. With our outreach programs we have reached a large part of the Asian community in Worcester.

But we can do better, that is why we want to work with individuals and organizations. Together we can build a vibrant Southeast Asian Community for a vibrant Worcester!
