An invitation from National Grid

September 26, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Have you been thinking about how you can save energy during the heat and humidity of the summer while remaining comfortable? Have a question about your electric bill? Wonder what happens when the power goes out? Wondering what you can do now to save money and energy before another brutal winter hits? Curious about what your local utility company is doing in your neighborhood?

National Grid and the Town of Auburn are hosting a FREE community event that will answer these questions – and many more – for our Central Massachusetts customers. The evening kicks off at 6 p.m. with refreshments and a talk with Marcy Reed, President of National Grid in Massachusetts.

Following that discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an exhibit-hall style event that will feature displays on topics including:

Understanding your utility bill
Energy efficiency programs and tips
How we respond to power outages
Energy safety
Connect21 – our approach to creating the energy networks of the 21st century
Improving the reliability and resiliency of our electricity systems
And more!

It’s also an opportunity for you to let us know how we’re doing, in person. Dozens of National Grid representatives will be on hand to hear your feedback about the services you receive and to provide energy information and helpful tips.
